I just can’t believe people leave their pets or children in a car in this heat! There are always so many warnings alerting parents of both pets and kids, it has to be a total moron not to take heed!
The only time Splotchy goes in the car over the summer months, is a ride to the river. Even then, the a/c is going full blast. I would never be able to forgive myself if something bad were to happen.
She still won’t jump in the river,( or go for a walk in the rain) but it really is so nice and cool relaxing under the trees.
Hopefully people will soon smarten up.
Hope to see ya soon!

..My sister has a new addition to her family. His name is Waldo ( yes, I’ve done a million where’s Waldo jokes.) He is so very sweet and lovable. We were told he’s about 5 years old. Her other baby, Cocoa, wasn’t to happy at first, but they’ve become fast friends.
They just love chasing each other around the yard. They were my latest customers at WWW.MargeM.JerkyDirect.com. They both enjoyed the all natural jerky treats.
Hope to see ya soon!
Yummy fruit snacks that the kids will love!
Yes, I’ve been busy!
I’ve been at different yard sales and craft shows. Selling my Jerky. They have all kinds of jerky, even pet jerky! made in the USA. Splotchy thinks it tastes great.
I do enjoy getting out and about with my cards, flyers and jerky samples. We always have something to add to a yard sale. We might just be able to save enough for that house down payment after all.
Fruit snacks, turkey jerky, beef jerky, even buffalo! Low in fat, High in protein.
The grocery bill alone for these pets and grandkids is enough to knock your socks off.
I’m praying this is a big success.
See ya soon and I’ll keep ya updated.
I had the perfect excuse for being late to work this morning. I get up early and take my son to work before I rush home and finish getting ready for my commute. It can be a little crazy sometimes depending on traffic. Can you believe this? It really was sweet to see all the cars stop to let them pass. I guess they had somewhere to go. They just crossed the street and sat. Really seemed like they decided to sit and watch the traffic! Certainly brightened an otherwise dreary day.
I just wish my pictures would have come out better!
Don’t ya think my boss would have gone for it?
Enjoy your day!
Very shameless plug! …..MargeM.jerkydirect.com
I sure have a been gone for a while.
I must say I have no idea how many times I’ve sat down to post and changed my mind. There are days when I look over the old posts and wonder what happened. One thing I still like to do, is read the comments! These blogs really are the greatest idea ever!
Nothing much has really changed. I am once again starting a side business and loving it. I really think I found the one this time.
The critters here at the circus are wild as ever. Of course, summer vacation is here for the kids. That always lifts my spirits. I just can’t believe that they are 12 and 14 years old already!
This is Splotchy’s reaction when I told her to get in the back seat.
See ya soon!
I know I complain, it’s a good way to vent!
But even in the everyday chores, I can still find beauty around me.
The trip to take my granddaughter to school can be tedious to say the least! We all line up and make a slow moving circle around the school. The kids all get dropped off at the one side of the school. It seems to take forever.
The view from the hill is awesome. I can see the river and just about the whole town from the school. Sitting in the car allows me to enjoy the scenery. Even the drive home has lovely sights.
I just need to remind myself!
It just seems so natural to send a prayer of thanks when look around.
Hope to see ya soon!
At this rate, the kids will be going to school half the summer and I’ll be fired!
I know it could be worse and we’ve been lucky here for many years.
I don’t know if it’s the weather or some added responsibilities, but I can feel my mood dropping.
I was wondering what other do when the drag of the job and bills get them down. If only I could afford to stay home and post on my blog. I enjoy participating in craft shows and love having the chance to try to make extra money that way. But these darn bills keep coming! I think I just get bored sometimes. I know it’s not all sunshine and roses, but I am very blessed with so much. I hate when I get down. I often think the occasional downs frighten me because I worry about just how down I will go.
If anyone has suggestions, I’m all ears.
Spring really needs to hurry up!
Hope to see ya soon
It always amazes me how many new sights we see on our travels. Taking my grandson and his friends to their games can be a trial at times. I really don’t usually enjoy the travel time involved. But on one of our game day trips, we juast had to pull over to investigate further!
I admit I’m not much of a country girl, so we really had no idea what this thing was!
From what we discovered, we think we saw a breed of highland cattle. They aren’t very common around here, but seem to be growing in popularity.
Really, I think this is a wild an animal as I want to be around!
Good grief, I am so sick of winter weather!!
Even Splotchy is tired of it.
It can be beautiful. But I think we’ve had enough. Splotchy loves to play in the snow, but not if it’s snowing. She just looks at the stuff falling down and turns back to the door!
She was quite upset this morning. We went walking and she was fine while we were on land. The alleys and roads were slushy and wet. She would step on the ice and sink down to the cold water below it. I wish I had a picture of the way she spread open her paws!
I’m pretty sure spring will get here someday?
This is the weather we look forward to!
And to seeing ya soon!
